What this country needs
SMS
- Your sender — An alphanumeric sender is replaced by a number on delivery, so your brand doesn't travel as the sender. A brand prefix keeps your name visible in the text.
- No registration needed — creating the sender is enough.
RCS
- What they ask for — Content in the local language · Keyword opt-out
- Who acts — We handle it. Nothing for you to do.
- Have this ready — Description, contact labels and visible content in Spanish; An estimate of your monthly message volume
- Without an approved registration — Nothing is sent to this country until the registration is approved.
The agent's public name can stay in English, but its description, contact labels and every other visible piece of content have to be in Spanish.
The agent has to accept opt-out through a Spanish keyword — BAJA, for instance — and confirm it. We set that up during the filing. An estimate of monthly volume is also asked for.
